bhavati sukhadam asmin śrī-harer aṅghri-cihnaṃ
yadi na sajati tasyā hanta durnīti-matyāḥ |
kalayata bata dhārṣṭyaṃ suṣṭhu bhāvatka-bhogyaṃ
tad-adhara-madhu juṣṭaṃ kurvatī sā nililye || [mālinī]
"The footprint of Śrī Hari brings happiness here, / alas, if it is not joined with that of her who possesses poor conduct! / Behold, alas, her audacity! Truly, what was meant for your enjoyment— / tasting the nectar of his lower lip, she has hidden herself!"
