sva-rati-vṛddhito' nanya-kāṅkṣiṇī
bhavati vaṃśikā yatra sākṣiṇī |
tam adhara-dravaṃ śoka-nāśanaṃ
vitara vīra bhoḥ prāṇadāśanam ||

Where the flute, desiring nothing else / because of the increase of its own passion, becomes a witness— / bestow that liquid of your lower lip, the destroyer of grief, / O hero, which is the food that gives life! //
