1.23.31

gīter āsīd vipariṇamanaṃ tarhi tāsāṃ vilāpas
tasyāpy uccai ruditam iti yan nādbhutaṃ tat tu tāsu |
kṛṣṇaṃ draṣṭuṃ prabhavati balād yasya tṛṣṇātidhṛṣṇak
tasyānyasyāpy ahaha śatadhā dṛśyate tat tad atra || [mandākrāntā]

The singing of those women then turned into lamentation, / and that into loud weeping; that was no wonder in their case. / If someone's excessively bold thirst is able to see Kṛṣṇa by force, / in another too, alas, all those various states are seen a hundredfold here. ||
