[16] vivṛtya ca śāstra-vipratipatti-viprayojayitṛ-viprebhyaḥ sūta-sarvānanda-guṇa-prabhūta-sūta-māgadha-vandibhyaś ca paramāvadānāni dānāni bahūni cakruḥ | tābhyaś ca śasta-vastrādīni prasthāpayāmāsuḥ | svasthāyamānāḥ samājagmuś ca kṛṣṇa-kṛṣṇāgrajau puraskṛtya nijaṃ vrajam iti |

And having manifested it, they gave many most noble gifts to the brāhmaṇas who resolve doubts in the scriptures, and to the Sūtas, Māgadhas, and bards who cause delight to all. To those [women] they sent excellent garments and other articles; and feeling at ease, placing Kṛṣṇa and Kṛṣṇa’s elder brother in front, they returned to their own Vraja."
