[22] For indeed, day after day as the day reaches its close, displaying instrumental music, song, and dance, when that Hari, the treasure of affection for the people of Vraja, enters His home together with the horned cows that accompany His companions, then the innumerable travellers in celestial chariots, all moving together higher and higher, crowding together in a flock and wishing to see Him clearly, suffer distress at losing sight of Him and come right up to the interior of His abode. But when He has entered the house, rooted in wonder and full of longing, remaining motionless like painted figures here and there, they would pass the night.
