[73] Then the longing Śrī Kṛṣṇa, gently lifting Rādhā's chin with his hand with deep affection, spoke these words charming with a smile: / 'If that is a face, what is the moon? If that is the artistry of a smile, its light is lusterless; / if those are your teeth, out upon the stars; and if those are your eyes, enough with the cakora birds!' / Hearing such contemptuous words directed against his own circle from all people, / words full of your praise, O Rādhā, that [moon] continually withers away in his heart. // [74] Then, moving forward, joining gradually with all those [gopīs] who knew all paths, who had traveled every road, and whose every limb was trembling, in the night whose darkness was dispelled by the moon, on the mountain, near the king of mountains, he unfolded the rāsa dance, which was spread with amorous play surpassing all else, situated in the forest blooming in the king of seasons [spring].
