pratikṣaṇam amī guṇā hari-ramāsu vṛddhiṃ gatā
dinaṃ dinam iti bruve kim iha sarvadaivaṃ sthite |
nave vayasi kiṃtarām iha ca tatra vā kiṃtamām
ariṣṭa-śamanānta-niśy ajani yatra sā carcarī ||
'Every moment these qualities increased among Hari and the beauties of Vraja; / why should I say they did so day by day, when it remained constantly thus? / How much more in fresh youth, and how much even more intensely / on the night concluding the destruction of Ariṣṭa, where that joyful song and dance took place?'
