[80] rāsotsavo' yam api, yathā-
yadā pūrvaṃ vṛttaḥ śaradam anu rāsaḥ kila tadā
babhūvādyārambhad divijam api vādyādi-sacivam | yadānye tat-paścād vyaraciṣata te tarhy akhilajin- mahā-saṅgītārhaṃ vyaraci hari-rādhādibhir adaḥ ||51||

[80] And this rāsa festival as well, as follows: / 'When the rāsa took place formerly in the autumn season, / then from its very inception it was assisted by the musical instruments of the gods; / but when others were performed after that, then this one, worthy of the greatest music conquering all, / was performed by Hari, Rādhā, and the rest.'
