[106] Then all said with wonder: "Be that so! But what happened after that?"
[107] Madhukaṇṭha said: "Afterward, however, in accordance with the prior instruction of Him whose Yogamāyā had fully manifested in conformity with the appearance of the four-armed form, Śrī Vasudeva—when the illusory sleep had spread everywhere, out of fear of the former god [Kaṃsa]—brought here that very two-armed boy born here and exchanged Him for that baby girl. But He [Kṛṣṇa], by means of that four-armed form indicating His divinity and by His instruction, did not exhibit there the nature of a newborn child, so [Vasudeva] doubted His sonship. Here, on the other hand, through the two-armed form and through the absence of the manifestation of the power of speech and so on, He revealed that very nature and established His sonship alone. But glorious Ānakadundubhi [Vasudeva] did not comprehend all this."
