śyāmaś cañcala-cāru-dīrgha-nayano bālas tavāṅka-sthale
dugdhodgāri-payodhare sphuṭam asau krīḍan mayālokyate |
svapnas tat kim u jāgaraḥ kim athavety etan na niścīyate
satyaṃ brūhi sadharmiṇi sphurati kiṃ so' yaṃ tavāpy antare ||

"Dark, with restless, lovely, large eyes, a child is clearly seen by me / playing in your lap, while your breasts overflow with milk. / Whether this is a dream or wakefulness cannot be determined; / tell me the truth, my virtuous wife: does he appear within you as well?"
