[33] tad evam aikarūpya-śleṣeṇa śabda-śleṣeṇa ca mithaś cintita-sad-upamānayor anayoḥ śrī-devarṣir amuṃ śrī-harṣi-śrī-nidhānaṃ veda-pārāyaṇataḥ stūyamānaṃ vidhāya vīkāśaṃ nivedayāmāsa-

[33] Thus, as the two mutually contemplated these excellent comparisons through puns on identical forms and puns on words, the glorious divine sage, having praised him who was a treasury of fortune delighting Śrī, made his disclosure, speaking as one who has mastered the Veda:
