[64] kṛṣṇa uvāca-bhavatu, bhāvi-kathā prathyatām | tatra madīya-durvṛttatām ayaṃ vraja-duḥkha-vṛttaṃ tāvad āstām, pura-vṛttaṃ purastād anuvartyatām, yenāham uparaktas tatra niṣpratibhatāṃ vyaktam āpsyāmi |

[64] Kṛṣṇa said: "Be that as it may; let future events be related. For now, let this tale of my wickedness consisting of the sorrow of Vraja rest; let the story of the city be pursued hereafter, so that, diverted thereby, I may clearly attain peace of mind."
