[1] atha śrī-kṛṣṇa-kṛtam ahasi śrī-vraja-rāja-sadasi prātaḥ-kathāyāṃ snigdhakaṇṭha uvāca- ayi! śrī-vraja-rāja! rājamāna-śrī-hari-mukha-ruci-virājamāna! punar imam itihāsam avabhāsayāmaḥ |

[1] Then, in the morning discourse in the assembly of the king of Vraja, in the radiance created by Śrī Kṛṣṇa, Snigdhakaṇṭha said: “O king of Vraja, shining with the splendour of the countenance of radiant Śrī Hari! We shall once again illuminate this history.
