āyāsyāmy eva śīghraṃ na khalu mama manasy anya-vārtāsti kācit
kācid vā daivataḥ syāt tad api na bhavatī-jātu dīnās tyajāni |
yā yā madhye mad-āptir muhur iha bhavitā tāṃ punaḥ svapna-rūpāṃ
mā śaṅkadhvaṃ yathā prāg asati ca virahe śaṅkamānā babhūva || iti |

‘I shall certainly return quickly; indeed, there is no other matter in my mind. / Even if some [matter] should arise by fate, even so I would never abandon you who are helpless. / Do not suspect each reunion with me that will occur repeatedly here in the meantime to be in the form of a dream, / as you used to suspect previously when there was no separation!’ ||
