parṇeṣu svarṇa-varṇeṣv amara-pati-maṇi-prakhyatāvarṇya-varṇair
nirvarṇyair gaḍhatamyām api citam abhito ratna-saṅkīrṇa-gātram |
āmukta-svaccha-muktā guṇam idam anu yat pustakaṃ kṛṣṇa-śobhāṃ
tad-vastrādi-prayuktāṃ svayam iha sa iva prādurastīti vidmaḥ || (srag)

On golden-colored leaves, with legible letters having the distinct color of sapphire—
visible even in deepest darkness, its form adorned all around with gems,
and strung with pure pearls—we recognize that this book directly manifests here,
as if it were Kṛṣṇa himself, the splendor of Kṛṣṇa produced by his garments and ornaments.
