[101] "However, let the two prose passages from the Padma Purāṇa beginning 'Now Nanda and the others residing there...' be clarified." / [102] Pūrṇamāsī explained: "Glorious Nanda and the others dwelling in Vraja, accompanied by their respective sons—Kṛṣṇa and the others themselves—and by their respective wives—Śrī Yaśodā and the others—by the grace of him who had come from Vasudeva in agreement with his vow to return, bearing supreme, unprecedented forms even beyond their previous ones, delighting one another's eyes, mounted upon his chariot which fulfills the path of every desire, concealed by that splendor from those who are ignorant of the truth alone as well as from those who know other truths; having reached the southern bank from the northern bank of the Yamunā, they reached that special manifestation of Śrī Vṛndāvana mentioned earlier, which eclipses all else by its splendor, the Vaikuṇṭha named Goloka, unhindered by supreme splendors, and therein the lotus of Gokula.
