"vṛṣakanyātulāmīnarājeṣu sphuṭamuccagāḥ |
somasaumyaśanikṣauṇīsutāstajjanmani sthitāḥ || [anuṣṭubh]
yasmād viśvāvasau varṣe janma tvajjanmanaḥ śiśoḥ |
viśvameva vasu śrīmad bhavitāmuṣya tuṣyataḥ || [anuṣṭubh]
rohiṇyāṃ janmanā rohiṇyayutānāmasau patiḥ |
vṛṣalagnaṃ ca tatrāsīd vṛṣakoṭīśitā tataḥ || [anuṣṭubh]
āyatiścāsya bhavitā sadaivāyatimaty ataḥ |
āyatyāṃ munayo' py asmin kuryurmanasa āyatim || [anuṣṭubh]
eṣa vakṣyati śāstrāṇi śastrāṇy apy ātmatejasā;
aniṣṭahṛd amitrāṇāṃ mitrāṇāṃ ca vrajādhipa || [anuṣṭubh]
bhavatorbhavitā bhavyamasmād iti vṛthā kathā |
bhāvatkānāṃ ca tad bhavyaṃ bhavasya ca bhavasya ca || [anuṣṭubh]
asyāścaryā caryā vahati bahunāṃ kutuhalaṃ bahulam |
sasurān asurān dunvan bhavati surāṇāṃ purāpy asāv avitā || [udgīti]
sahajapremṇāṃ bhavatām amunā kiṃ tāraṇaṃ citram?
tān api kṛtrimahārdān sarvān nistārayed eṣaḥ || [āryā]

"The Moon, Mercury, Saturn, and Mars clearly stand exalted in Taurus, Virgo, Libra, and Pisces at the birth of that child.
Because this child born of you was born in the Viśvāvasu year,
all wealth (viśva-vasu) will indeed belong to him, radiant when he is pleased.
By being born under Rohiṇī, he will be the lord of myriad Rohiṇīs;
and the ascendant then was Taurus (vṛṣa), so he will be master of ten million bulls (vṛṣa).
His majesty (āyati) will ever be vast (āyatimatī);
therefore, the sages too will fix the expanse (āyati) of their minds upon him in the future (āyati).
By his own brilliance, he will expound the scriptures and wield weapons,
destroying what is unwanted for enemies and for friends, O lord of Vraja!
To say that good fortune will come only to you two from him is an empty statement;
that good fortune belongs to your people, to Śiva (bhava), and to the universe (bhava).
His wondrous conduct brings great curiosity to many;
afflicting the demons along with their gods, he is of old the protector even of the gods.
What wonder is it that he should deliver you whose love is innate?
He would liberate even all those whose affection is feigned.
