1.7.46

māṃ nartayata bho vṛddhāḥ, iti tāsāṃ puro gataḥ |
bhadraṃ nṛtyasi bhadras tvam, iti stotrān nanarta saḥ || [anuṣṭubh]
vihasantīṣu sarvāsu sauṣṭhavāt pracyavād api |
nṛtyan vrīḍitavat kṛṣṇo mātur aṅke' palāyata || [anuṣṭubh]

Approaching them, he said, "O elders, make me dance!" / And at their praise, "You dance well, you are good!", he danced.
When they all laughed loudly at his loss of poise, / Kṛṣṇa, dancing as if ashamed, fled into his mother's lap.
