[21] kṣaṇaṃ viramya ca ramyānanaḥ stana-dhayanam api tatrārabdhavān, yad darśanam anu saṅkarṣaṇaḥ serṣyam iva nijam utkarṣaṃ vāñchan nija-jananī-stana-pānam ārabdhavān | [22] tadaiva ca tau līlābhiḥ pramīlām āgatau yātṛbhyāṃ mātṛbhyāṃ śanaiḥ śanaiḥ śayyām adhiśāyyete sma |

[21] Resting for a moment, he of lovely face also began to suck the breast there; seeing this, Saṅkarṣaṇa, as if wishing for his own preeminence out of jealousy, began to drink from his own mother's breast. [22] Just then, both of them having grown drowsy from their games, they were gently laid upon their beds by the two mothers, who were sisters-in-law.
