[23] tad evaṃ sarāmasya tasya nirodhe vidhīyamāne bahir vijihīrṣite cātīva tad-upajīvana-pīvatām āsann eva yogamāyā tad-anukulyāya kiñcit prapañcitavatī, yathā-

[23] Thus, while his confinement along with Rāma was maintained, and their desire to sport outside grew exceedingly strong—for it was the very life of their sustenance—Yogamāyā manifested something to favor them, as follows—
