[14] tad evam api sa tu nijārthite pratyarthite bhṛśam āvijate sma, yathā-
tenātha kopa-sphuritāruṇādharaṃ
sandaśya dadbhyām udasarji rodanam |
daṇḍāhatāmatram akhaṇḍi cāśmanā
nālambhi tasmin navanītam aṇv api || [vaṃśastha]

[14] Even though this was so, he became exceedingly agitated when his desire was opposed, as follows:
Biting his trembling, reddish lower lip with his teeth in anger,
he let forth a wail of weeping;
he smashed the clay vessel struck with a churning rod with a stone,
and did not leave even an atom of butter in it. ||
