[15] atra tu varṇayanti,
dantendu-lekhāviśad ādharāruṇaṃ
cakṣuś-cakora-dvayam aśru cādadhe |
tadā śiśor asya karāmbu-janmanāpy
ariṣṭam uddhūya balād vijṛmbhitam || [upajāti 12]

[15] Here, indeed, they describe:
The streak of his tooth-moon entered his red lower lip,
and the pair of cakora birds of his eyes shed tears;
then, by the lotus hand of this child,
averting inauspiciousness by force, it expanded greatly. ||
