1.8.35

gatvā gṛhābhyantaram anyad apy asau
dṛṣṭvā sutasyātula-cāpalaṃ prasūḥ |
tadīya-vartmānugamena ca kramād
ālokayal lola-vilocanaṃ ca tam || [upajāti 12]

Having gone into another room in the house
and seen the matchless restlessness of her son,
the mother, following his tracks step by step,
also saw him with his wandering eyes. ||
