[22] sa khalu dṛptaḥ śākhā-mṛgas tu navanītānāṃ tṛptaḥ paṭa-veṣṭita-yaṣṭim etāṃ dṛṣṭvā drutam eva śākhām ārūḍhaḥ |

[22] Indeed, that proud monkey, satiated with butter, seeing her with a stick wrapped in cloth, quickly climbed up a tree branch.
