atha dravantaṃ sutam anvagāt prasūḥ
prasūna-vṛṣṭi-pratha-keśa-bandhanā |
kva yāsi re coravareti jalpitā
nātisphuṭa-krandana-hāsa-sundaram || [upajāti 12]

Then the mother pursued her fleeing son,
her braided hair spreading a shower of flowers,
calling out: "Where are you going, you prince of thieves?"
charming with her cries and laughter that were not very loud. ||
