Mounted on carts, adorned with fresh ornaments,
The cowherd women, out of boundless joy, sang of Nandanandana in delight,
As follows:
"O child born to King Nanda! Rejoice, O son of mother Yaśodā!
Anointed in the grand festival of your birth! You who gladden all your affectionate kin! [Refrain]
You who tormented the poisonous woman with your touch! You to whom the fault of disaster was unknown!
You who remained after overturning the cart! O special merit of Gokula!
