andhrāśca draviḍāḥ pañca vindhyadakṣiṇavāsinaḥ //

The Karṇāṭas, Tailaṅgas, Gurjaras, those dwelling in Rāṣṭra, / and the Andhras and Drāviḍas are the five residing south of the Vindhyas.
