tvayā svahastena mahī madacyutā mataṅgajena srag ivāpavarjitā //

Long held undivided by kings born of your line, / whose luster equaled that of Ākhaṇḍala, / this earth has been cast away by your own hand, / like a garland cast aside by an elephant dripping with rut.
