puropanītaṃ nṛpa rāmaṇīyakaṃ dvijātiśeṣeṇa yad etad andhasā
tad adya te vanyaphalāśinaḥ paraṃ paraiti kārśyaṃ yaśasā samaṃ vapuḥ //
O king, that beauty which was formerly brought forth / by the food remaining after the brahmins had eaten, / that body of yours, now eating wild fruit, / is exceedingly emaciated along with your fame.
