śivam aupayikaṃ garīyasīṃ phalaniṣpattim adūṣitāyatim
vigaṇayya nayanti pauruṣaṃ vijitakrodharayā jigīṣavaḥ //
Desiring victory and having conquered the rush of wrath, / [princes] exercise manly effort, taking into account what is auspicious, expedient, productive of great fruit, and of unblemished future.
