savrīḍamandair iva niṣkriyatvān nātyartham astrair avabhāsamānaḥ
yaśaḥkṣayakṣīṇajalārṇavābhas tvam anyam ākāram ivābhipannaḥ //

Barely shining through weapons that seem sluggish out of shame due to inaction, / resembling an ocean whose waters are depleted by the ruin of fame, / you have assumed, as it were, an altered form.
