vīkṣya ratnacaṣakeṣv atiriktāṃ kāntadantapadamaṇḍanalakṣmīm
jajñire bahumatāḥ pramadānām oṣṭhayāvakanudo madhuvārāḥ //
Seeing in the gemmed cups the surpassing grace / of the ornaments made by the teeth-marks of lovers, / the rounds of wine that washed away the red dye of their lips / were held in highest esteem by the impassioned women.
