āhite nu madhunā madhuratve ceṣṭitasya gamite nu vikāsam
ābabhau nava ivoddhatarāgaḥ kāminīṣv avasaraḥ kusumeṣoḥ //
Whether sweetness had been infused into their gestures by wine, / or whether it had brought them to full blossom, / a newly intensified occasion for the flower-arrowed god / shone forth among the passionate women.
