kecin ninindur nṛpama-praśāntaṃ, vicukruśuḥ kecana sā'sramuccaiḥ,
ūcus tathā 'nye bharatasya māyāṃ, dhik kekayīmityaparo jagāda.

Some blamed the unrestrained king; some wailed aloud with tears; / others spoke of Bharata's deceit; another said, "Fie on Kaikeyī!"
