nodakaṇṭhiṣyatā 'tyarthaṃ, tvāmaikṣiṣyata cet smaraḥ,
khelāyannaniśaṃ nāpi sajūḥ-kṛtya ratiṃ vaset,

Smara would not long so excessively, if he were to see you, / nor would he dwell sporting constantly with Rati joined to him.
