virahaviṣamaḥ kāmo vāmastanuṃ kurute tanuṃ
divasagaṇanād akṣaścāsau vyapetaghṛṇo yamaḥ |
tvamapi vaśago mānavyādhervicintaya nātha he
kiśalayamṛdurjīved evaṃ kathaṃ pramadājanaḥ ||64||(67)
Cruel love, adverse through separation, makes her body slender;
and this pitiless Yama is adept at counting the days.

how women, tender as fresh shoots, could live like this! ||64||(67)
