rakto'pyaśokaviṭapī parapuṣṭabandhoḥ
prāpnoti yasya vibhave caraṇaprahāram .
tasmai samṛddisacivairmadhupairnipatya

Homage be to Madhava, by whose power the aśoka tree, / though red, receives the kick of a foot from a companion of the cuckoo; / while the nectar of Madhava is drunk by bees, his ministers of abundance, / who fall upon it and are shaken off. //31
