yātaḥ pratārayitumīśvaramaṅganāyāṃ
māraḥ purā kimiti kārmukabāṇapāṇiḥ .
nāgre tatāna vanitāguṇavarṇanānāṃ

Going formerly to delude Īśvara with a woman, / why did Māra have a bow and arrow in hand? / Why did he not spread descriptions of a woman's virtues before him? / Because of that, the fool surely met destruction. //30
