She who arrived for the welfare of Indra in battle, who was not conquered by the army of enemies deploying deceit; / the moon taking shelter with Hara, clearly begged for an elegance equal to hers on account of its slender grace. 27. / Pure through washing the world of becoming, supreme, praised by the foremost of the varied, shining white, / knowing the inner heart, her lotus-face like a forest of fresh blue lotuses, / standing in the face like an armor of tranquility, an ornament in jest in the secret abode of the delighted Hara, / may she protect—revealed, protecting in battle, intent on saving those bowed in thought, drinking compassion. 28.
