prajāsamudvegakaraṃ yugāntaṃ samupasthitam
tasmāt samudvegakare yugānte pratyupasthite |
pranaṣṭadharmaṃ dharmajña nimittair vaktum arhasi //
The end of the yuga, causing distress to creatures, has arrived;
therefore, when the distressing end of the yuga is at hand,
O knower of dharma, you should tell the signs of lost dharma.
