sūta uvāca
pṛṣṭa evaṃ bhaviṣyasya gatiṃ tattvena cintayan
evaṃ bhaviṣye tu gatiṃ yogenaiva vicintayan |
yugānte pūrvarūpāṇi bhagavān abravīt tadā //
The Sūta said:
Thus questioned, considering the course of the future in truth,
thus meditating on the future course through yoga alone,
the lord then spoke of the portents at the end of the yuga.
