pravṛttadharmāḥ saṃvṛttā lokā muditamānasāḥ
sarve lokā mudānvitāḥ |
babhūvur adhikāś caiva |
prītyā paramayā yuktā devadevasya bhūpateḥ |
viṣṇor dattapratijñasya śrutvārinidhane giram //
The worlds, restored to active dharma, rejoiced in their minds;
all the worlds were filled with joy
and were exceedingly glad,
endowed with highest delight, upon hearing the speech of the god of gods, the ruler of the earth,
Viṣṇu, who had made his vow to destroy their enemies:
