Karṇa's Burden 4: bhaṭaḥ

atyugradīptiviśadaḥ samare'gragaṇyaḥ
śaurye ca saṃprati saśokamupaiti dhīmān |
prāpte nidāghasamaye ghanarāśiruddhaḥ
sūrya: svabhāvarucimāniva bhāti karṇa: || 4 ||

Brilliant with fierce splendour, foremost in battle, / and wise in heroism, now approaches full of sorrow; / like the sun, possessing natural radiance, obscured by a dense mass of clouds / at the arrival of the hot season, so appears Karṇa. || 4
