niṣpratyūhamupāsmahe bhagavataḥ kaumodakīlakṣmaṇaḥ
kokaprīticakorapāraṇapaṭujyotiṣmatī locane .
yābhyāma vibodhamugdhamadhuraśrīrardhanidrāyito
nābhīpalvalapuṇḍarīka mukulaḥ kamboḥ sapatnīkṛtaḥ .. 1 ..

Without obstacle we worship the two luminous eyes of the Blessed One marked by Kaumodakī, / expertly shining to delight the cakravāka and feast the cakora bird, / by which the half-sleeping bud of the lotus in his navel-pool, / charming and sweet with incomplete opening, was turned into a rival of his conch.
