api caviramati mahākalpe nābhī pathaikaniketana-
stribhuvanapura śilpī yasya pratikṣaṇamātmabhūḥ .
kimadhikaraṇaṃ kīṭakasya vyavasthitirityasā-
budaramaviśadraṣṭuṃ tasmai jagannidhaye namaḥ .. 2 ..

Moreover: / When a great cosmic cycle comes to an end, the self-born [Brahmā], architect of the cities of the triple world, / whose sole dwelling is the path of his navel, / entered his belly to see at every instant: "What is the receptacle wherein this insect dwells?" / Homage to that treasure-house of the universe!
