snigdhā vāco lajjitāntāś ca hāsāḥ |
līlā-mandaṃ prasthitaṃ ca sthitaṃ ca
strīṇām etad bhūṣaṇaṃ cāyudhaṃ ca ||
Glances with contracted eyes from the clever movement of the brow, / affectionate words and laughter ending in bashfulness, / walking with playful slowness, and standing still— / this is both an ornament and a weapon for women.
