varṇaṃ sitaṃ śirasi vīkṣya śiroruhāṇāṃ
sthānaṃ jarā-paribhavasya tadā pumāṃsam |
āropitāṃsthi-śatakaṃ parihṛtya yānti
caṇḍāla-kūpam iva dūrataraṃ taruṇyaḥ ||

Seeing the white color of the hair on his head, / the sign of age's humiliation, / young women shun that man from afar, / as though he were an outcaste's well hung with hundreds of bones.
