He speaks no fault of another, but speaks daily of another's virtues, even if slight; / he feels contentment in another's prosperity, and bears grief at another's distress; / he does not praise himself, does not abandon prudent policy, does not overstep propriety, / and even when spoken to harshly, does not show intolerance—such is the conduct of the virtuous.
