What talk of an elephant in battle when [a lion] enters limb by limb into one that approaches, with smearing of the hands and the like? If [a lion has] even the scent of a scent-elephant, what are ordinary elephants? / Hari's mark is to be conquered; therefore we praise that [fame], / hearing of which even the śarabha, self-victorious, was not imprinted in the womb.
