vātādisarvaraktotthāḥ kukṣihṛtpārśvabastijāḥ
pañca pañcāpadāmagryā gulmāḥ sūtre nidarśitāḥ
Originating from vāta and the others, from all of them, and from blood, / arising in the belly, the cardiac region, the flanks, and the urinary bladder, / the five foremost varieties among the fivefold distress of abdominal lumps have been demonstrated in the Sūtrasthāna.
